Beauty and Wisdom: My Grandma Mollie, the epitome of ageless ...
Question: Who is hotter: Tinkerbell, Snow White, Ariel ("The Little Mermaid"), or Sleeping Beauty? Look, this needs to be answered to put to rest the ageless debate that has so terribly marred the past and threatens to corrupt our future. Personally I would say Ariel, but I am not into red heads so I will go with the dark-horse candidate, Tinkerbell.
Robbie Kaye, photojournalist, traveled in her car to salons throughout the US to photograph and interview women in their 70's, 80's and 90's, while at their weekly beauty parlor appointments. Why? To learn about these women and their relationships with their stylists in order to invite change as it pertains to the perception of beauty and how beauty is in fact...ageless. Beauty of Wisdom is partly a preservation of history since the styles and rituals of these women will someday be obsolete. My grandma Mollie taught me by example - never talked about being old, or in pain with her bursitis, which never stopped her from cooking for the whole family for high holy days, or taking me shopping for clothes or making me and my grandpa lunch every day when I worked for him in the Bronx at Hunts Point.
I think I saw her in pants twice... and she looked so elegant with her tapered, light colored, slacks and foo-foo mule shoes...I can still hear them yippy yapping against her feet as she pranced across the Miami hotel's shiny waxed floor. We were on vacation there.
In this picture, in 1972, you can see.
Question: Who is more beautiful to you: Twiggy or Audrey Hepburn? She had such unique features and her personality really contributed to her beauty. She had inner beauty and natural beauty. Her heart was made of gold, and even in old age she remained beautiful.
Answer:: Audrey Hepburn. Classy, romantic, genuinely beautiful.
.. this outfit is a product of going shopping with my grandmother who was always more up on fashion than I was. No, your eyes are not deceiving you, I was the quintessential poster child for all things 70's - hot pink velvet hot pant, leather fringe belt, white go go boots and pink puckered shirt... I must have been trying to get the whole fashion thing together in just that one day. My grandmother is the one standing next to me in the red checkered dress... not sure how me and dad wound up being colored coordinated... but there it is.

Beauty and Wisdom is a preservation of a diminishing population of women and fading aspects of American culture as well as a reminder that these women are vibrant and thriving in a society that focuses on the beauty of youth. Robbie is from New York and resides in Southern California.

Ageless Beauty: Checking out Drugstore Beauty Bargains, Part 2
Question: What is so attractive about crack whores? I often wonder why they're such coveted "trophy" girlfriends. Is it the glamour. The ageless beauty.
Answer:: It must be their healthy, happy 'glow'.
I was enticed into buying the two Garnier eye products by the ubiquitous test cards appearing in beauty and fashion magazines lately. I collected four of the cards in order to do before and after tests using the strips on each card.
The strips are pressed onto the under eye area. When you pull the strip away, you should have an impression of your under eye lines and wrinkles. I couldn't get the test strips to work at all! Garnier Nutritioniste Skin Renew Anti-Dark-Circle Eye Roller
We bought this for my hubby who has olive skin, under eye bags, and dark eye circles. Instead of camouflaging the dark circles, this product gave his under eye area an unhealthy-looking grayish tint.
I don't have dark eyes circle, but tried Garnier Nutritioniste Skin Renew Anti-Dark-Circle Eye Roller on red areas around my nose as well as on blemishes. It's a beautiful concealer for my fair skin; so that's how I'll use it; but sparingly. Read on for why.
Looking at the ingredients, I was shocked to find Denatured Alcohol as the third ingredient. This is a drying alcohol which causes free radical damage.
Has anyone tried Cindy Crawfords beauty products? Saw an infomercial about Cindy Crawfords "Endless Beauty" or "Ageless Beauty" Can't really remember what it's called exactly. Anyone tried it.it.
Meaningful Beauty, is it.it. You can get it at Sephora now, so don't buy into the infomercial. It has better success
than just infomercial status.
How that is supposed to help aging skin renew itself is beyond me. In addition, Denatured Alcohol stings and can cause eye irritation.
If you experience painful stinging from getting this product in the eye itself, flush the eye with water. Of course, this will remove
any products you've already applied to the area, e.g. sunscreen or moisturizer.
Finally, I don't find any ingredients that have been shown to lighten dark circles in this product. There is a small amount of Caffeine which temporarily tightens skin.
Bottom line: a good concealer for fair skin; but not for use close to the eyes. Don't expect it to renew your skin.
